In 2012 the Canadian Society of Value Analysis held its annual conference for the first time in Western Canada – in Calgary, Alberta. The theme of the conference was: Delivering Value!

Download the first communiqué, second communiqué, third communiqué, fourth communiqué, and preliminary program here.

Today, more than ever, organizations are being called upon to deliver priority services and programs, and to do so with continually increasing expectations for quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness.

Traditional approaches to delivering these services and programs are no longer sufficient. New tools are needed to meet Increasingly complex challenges. Value Analysis and Risk Analysis can:
  • Optimize the use of resources by helping decision makers balance key stakeholders needs with resources.
  • Achieve buy-in for change. A VA team reaches a common understanding of key needs and solutions.
  • Deliver services and infrastructure under fiscal and staffing constraints. Value Analysis is a structured approach to innovation that reliably generates alternative solutions to problems.
The Conference will bring together representatives from government and industry, as well as practitioners to demonstrate the use of value and risk analysis on today’s challenges.
