Awards of Merit
Each Year the Canadian Society of Value Analysis presents Awards of Merit to recognize those individuals and organizations who are creating value in Canada and across the world through the use, promotion and advancement of the Value Methodologies. This year the CSVA Awards of Merit will be presented during our 2011 annual conference, Innovation Through Value Analysis! - A Best Practice for the 21st Century, November 14th, 15th and 16th, 2011 in Toronto:  
The CSVA would welcome your nominations of individuals or organizations deserving of recognition for their contributions to the Value Methodologies in Canada,
Awards are presented with consideration of the following broad criteria:
  • Areas of application of VE/VA (government, industry, education, construction, etc.)
  • Support and promotion of VE/VA in Canada
  • Innovative applications of VE/VA or extending theapplication/methodology
  • Have recognition for their contribution to VE/VA in Canada or beyond
  • Application, innovation or  contributionto VE/VAinfluential beyond its original use
  • Years of service to the VA/VE, and the CSVA (note: current CSVA Executive members are not eligible)
  • In addition to deserving Canadian recipients, the CSVA welcomes nominations for the Stars and Stripes Award, recognizing our American colleagues, who have made significant contributions to the application and advancement of VE/VA in Canada.

Please submit your nominations for consideration by the CSVA awards panel, to the CSVA at: awards@scav-csva.org , no later than Sept. 16, 2011. Please include the name of the nominee, the criteria as listed above, and a brief message supporting your nomination.
