This presentation compares both approaches and identifies how the Value Analysis methodology can be improved through techniques from the Strategyzer approach and how the Value Proposition in the Strategyzer approach can be improved with value management techniques.

Where is the market for our value services in times of reduced personal contact meetings? In this presentation Mr. Taylor will describe opportunities for project delivery where the use of smaller teams for constructability or value engineering can be completed using web based techniques to deliver more cost effect projects. The presentation will describe projects that have been completed pretender and post tender to achieve cost control in time where we also are face with affordability issues for municipalities. In the future these can be completed via web based interfaces.

Description : Presentation demonstrates how the use of Management of Value process focuses decision making by a clear articulation of needs, identifying what priorities of stakeholders, identifying how to meet needs, and measuring the best value for money. The Management of Value guidance was released in 2011 as part of the Best Management Practice portfolio of the UK Cabinet Office. The portfolio also includes PRINCE2, Management of Risk, Portfolio, and Programme and Project Offices.  Michael Dallas was the principle author of the Management of Value guidance. Management of Value is similiar to European Value Management but differs in terminology, referencing functions as "value drivers".

The first step was define the notion of value through a series of facilitated round tables at CSVA summit in November 2000. The summit brought together many perspectives on value. This paper is a summary of a round table discussion on the notion of value, how value is measured from different perspectives.
